Cheerful Hearts
About Them
Cheerful Hearts Foundation (CHF) is a nonprofit non governmental organization that was founded in 2008 by Bright Fiasti and Eric Opoku Agyemang. CHF was founded to stop child labour and trafficking by educating and empowering rural citizens in the Central Region of Ghana through human rights, public health and education initiatives.
What They Do
CHF achieves its mission through three key projects: Stop Child Labour & Trafficking, Public Health, and Education Standards. These projects tackle the root causes of daily issues in rural Ghana, aiming for sustainable change in Senya Beraku, Gomoah Fetteh, and Gomoah Nyanyano. They value hands-on research and project management, with the support of international interns and volunteers. Collaboration with local leaders and community members has led to initiatives like the Women’s Entrepreneurship and Leadership Development (WELD) program and school soccer leagues.
Their Mission
CHF realized the widespread human rights violations that existed throughout the rural communities in Ghana, and has committed to provide those most in need with the basic human services and skills to thrive.
Their Values
Cheerful Hearts Foundation is committed to:
Integrity – acting with honesty and transparency
Respect – treating all citizens equally
Empowerment – dedicating our efforts to finding sustainable ways to improve the lives and futures of rural citizens
Collaboration – Fostering relationships with individuals, communities, and organizations
Responsibility – being accountable to the people and communities we serve
Diversity – creating an environment built on open-mindedness and inclusion
We are so excited to announce our collaboration book "Voices of Change" where we are sharing our journey of impacting the world with our words. We are currently looking for businesses that would love to partner with us in helping Cheerful Hearts Foundation. By making a donation or pre-ordering our book "Voices of Change", you will be supporting this journey. Reach out to the Speaker/Author that you know to find out details on how to be a sponsor today and how your business will be included in this book. We are bringing 500 copies with us to Ghana that we will be giving away while there.
